This program is designed for full-time students at our university to engage in learning that molds them into leaders of the future with strong awareness of sustainability issues, particularly with regards to the 17 SDGs and how these goals interconnect with each other.

This marks our third offering of this program, and in each installment, we have been honored to share the process of learning with students from outside of Okinawa and Japan.

We extend our invitation to students of our partner institutions to audit portions of the OISP this semester. Details for proposed participation are as follows:

(1) Intercultural discussions with Japanese students from the University of the Ryukyus (in English)

Friday, December 3rd, 2021 10:20 to 11:50 (Japan standard time, JST)

Friday, January 21st, 2021 10:20 to 11:50 (JST)

(2) Final group presentations by Japanese students (in English)

Friday, January 28th, 2021 10:20 to 11:50 (JST)

Students are invited to watch group presentations prepared by Japanese participants (presentations will be centered upon SDGs). Students are encouraged to ask questions and give their feedback on how they found the presentations.

We are welcoming as much international participation as possible and hence will not be imposing limits on the number of students per session.
